QIS was founded in 1993 by Larry Trout and Rick Vogel who had a combined 30 years of experience in the fastener manufacturing business serving the automotive industry. We recognized a future requirement, due to the ever increasing auto assembly automation, to develop a sorting company that would be able to understand the complexities involved in the manufacturing operations and provide total solutions that would ensure the quality of the end product.

This business plan allowed the development of a company that today has the confidence of the Fastener Industry in it’s ability to deliver with Quality, Performance, and Solutions to most styles and sizes used in the Automotive and Industrial markets.
