Last year was a challenging year for most employers. At J&M Plating, we faced multiple challenges—including staffing shortages, increased cost of materials, and rising COVID cases. We had to make bold decisions so we could navigate these challenges and adapt in an ever-changing world. Lucky for us, J&M Plating was blessed with great people, great clients, and a leadership team that is committed to its people. Because of the commitment we have made to our staff, in 2022, the J&M management team is striving to make our workplace better every day by moving forward with innovating our technologies and reimagining what a working place can be.
One of the most exciting projects we embarked on this January was performing upgrades on our equipment! This idea came from the feedback we received from our employees and clients. To meet and exceed everybody’s expectations, we have invested in improving one of our plating lines. Our long-term goal is to continue to improve the quality of our products and the reliability of our equipment and to support a much safer workplace for our employees. By implementing these upgrades, J&M Plating demonstrates once more that we are willing to invest in our operations to deliver on our promise and be a role-model business while remaining environmentally responsible.
We are nearing the finish of these updates and cannot wait for the coming weeks when we can open our production line back up to our clients. We are confident that this will be the first of many company efforts to establish stronger partnerships with our clients and hope this will open the doors to new welcoming new clients and employees who want to join us on this adventure.
